The movie that started the Harry Potter series is still wonderful to watch.
One of the great things about the series is how right they got the casting; this movie alone has a stellar cast with great performances not only from the seasoned actors but from the fresh young cast too.
Alan Rickman steals this movie and seems to have great fun being the thorn in Harry's side! Robbie Coltrane is also the perfect person to bring lovable Hagrid to life!
Full of amazing scenes, the chess game being amongst my favourites; this film will continue to be a classic for children and adults alike! Magical fun!!
