Another entertaining journey for Conan the Barbarian.
This time he faces wizards and various creatures with the promise it will resurrect his lost love Valeria.
Considering when this was made it has good effects and is a really enjoyable movie.
Arnold Schwarzenegger looks amazing; at the peak of his fitness and it also features a lovely score.

Assassins
Starring: Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas, Julianne Moore
Distributed By: Warner Bros.
Release Date: October/November 1995
---------------------------------------------------------------
This is an entertaining thriller about two assassins playing against each other to be the best!
Antonio Banderas really makes the most of his slightly crazed role, whilst Sylvester Stallone is extremely cool in his.
Lots of action and a few twists make this a fun thrill ride to see who will make it to the end!

As religious thriller/save the world type movies go, this one really makes me laugh!
I'm pretty sure it's meant to be scary, but as soon as the old lady enters the diner that's where it becomes more of a funfest than a scarefest!
I can't fault the action scenes and the cast all do their best.
It's especially worth watching to see Paul Bettany's Michael and Kevin Durand's Gabriel fighting it out.
Also, Paul Bettany’s character is darkly serious and very nice to look at!
Oh and the next time you hear an ice cream truck - think twice!!

The Eagle
Starring: Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Donald Sutherland, Mark Strong
Distributed By: Focus Feature/Universal Pictures
Release Date: Feb/Mar 2011
--------------------------------------------------------------
I really like this unique take on the ninth legion myth.
here are things about this movie that are strange but for me it's one of Channing Tatum's strongest roles and that's what really makes this movie worth seeing and he and Jamie Bell have great brotherly chemistry. What I find really strange is Mark Strong with an American accent for this role, especially as I'm used to him being very British!
Overall it's a good addition to the Roman epic genre.

Labyrinth
Director: Jim Henson
Starring: David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, Toby Froud
Distributed By: TriStar Pictures
Release Date: June 1986
---------------------------------------------------------------
I watched this so many times when I was young I learnt most of the script! This is classic fantasy at its best! It features a collection of colourful characters and memorable songs and is a real feel-good movie.
Jennifer Connelly is perfectly cast as the spoilt teenager who has a lesson to learn whilst David Bowie is captivating as the kinda sexy goblin king!
Perfect fantasy fun!

This movie made me laugh a lot! James Woods totally steals it as Hades and has some of the best lines, whilst Danny DeVito makes a very charming Satyr!
